   Are Trees in Species-Rich Urban Plantings Less Susceptible to Pest Damage? Though that question is a clear yes to me, the article below helped me understand why with greater clarity. Give it a read and see how they put "the resource concentration hypothesis” and “the enemies hypothesis” to the test. Does anyone have other good studies on species diversity and pest impacts?
