Portland Parks & Recreation Urban Forestry is hiring an Outreach Coordinator to support our Equitable Tree Canopy program!

The role, funded by the Portland Clean Energy Fund, focuses on expanding tree planting efforts and promoting climate justice in Portland. 

Key responsibilities of the Outreach Coordinator: 

• Coordinate outreach strategies to drive sign-ups for planting 10,000 urban trees annually. 
• Develop communication materials and manage partnerships to promote tree planting initiatives.
• Lead partnership efforts with active listening, empathy, and creative problem-solving. 
• Collaborate with graphic designers to create advertising and media materials for use by staff, volunteers, and contractors.
